January is a time where people think about changes. So often we talk about making changes, but real change doesn’t really occur. Our New Year’s Resolutions are kind of like redecorating your house; nothing really changes, but it looks like something has changed. When you renovate a home, however, real change has happened. Things that need to be changed are changed, rotten boards are replaced, a new roof is put on…whatever needs to happen for the structure to remain sound happens. So what changes need to happen within our lives….what boards need to be replaced…do we need a new roof? God’s desire for our lives is not redecoration; it is renovation.

Week 3- Teaching

“Search and Know”
Focus: Psalm 139—Search me and know my heart.
Emphasis: What needs to be renovated deep within us to make us worshippers who can come
to Him in Spirit and in Truth?
