- Brad Butler
About to hit the tub and then bed after a long Easter but I did notice "Eight Below" on the tv. What a great movie! I saw it in the theater for the first time and then have seen it a couple of times since. Its just excellent. I give it a "3". Ok, what's that mean you ask...well my friend Ashley and I are discussing and we don't know who came up with it ( I give her and her husband Crull credit along with Rhonda and the late great Ray Daniels credit...she gives it to me) but regardless here's how it works in its most simplistic form....
Values of movies:
A "4"- I loved the movie and I'll never listen to anything you say about a movie if you didn't like it. Example: Remember the Titans
A "3"- I liked the movie (maybe even alot) but I can see how you wouldn't like it. Example: Dumb and Dumber
A "2"- I didn't like the movie (or hated it) but I can see how you would like it. Example: Anchorman
A "1"- I hated this movie and I'll never listen to anything you say about a movie if you liked it. Example: The Mexican
Anyway, thats the movie ratings game..
