Today marks the 55th anniversary of the martyrdom of five men, including Jim Elliot.  "He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."  Those words continue to impact me, inspire me, push me.  I praise God for the freedom to live in a place where my faith doesn't cost me my life, and I praise God for those marytrs who continue to lay down their lives as the seed of the church.  Today also marks the 55th anniversay of the day Jim Elliot entered into the very presence of God.  Jim, I'll see you when I get home.
